MAKING OF Software: Vegas Movie Studio 9.0 Camera Movements I have a small 'dolly' that my camera fits into with wheels on it. It is made out of K'nex and the wheels are adjustable for a variety of movements. Notice camera movements in the first 4 opening shots, the lockdown corridor shot, when the robot is being shot at, and when it runs and transforms. Sets The two sets were made on a small workshop table in my room. The black walls of the CIA center are black poster boards. Legos are great for a variety of set pieces because they provide great set damage, which includes the control panel, CIA building, and other props. They also allow set pieces to be customized to what is needed for the scene. K'nex are also great for building set pieces and other structures. Most other set pieces came from miscellaneous objects. The city set, which will be a lot larger in Part II, took some time to create. The CIA building is built out of legos, while all other buildings are cardboard food boxes overlaid with construction paper. The road is a piece of black poster board with construction paper. Special Effects There were very minimal special effects in this video, but a few that I wanted to mention. The electric current that flashed across the robot's face was created in GIMP ...
