Gone But Not Forgotten

Our tribute to the heroes of September 11, 2001; the men and women who ran into the buildings and died while trying to save the innocent people who were attacked on that fateful day. For us New Yorkers - cops, firemen, emergency workers, construction workers and the like - we will never be the same. The attack and its aftermath tore a whole in our hearts that may have slowly healed but there will forever be a scar. Each year at this time that scar opens and all the memories and emtions come pouring out. And that is the way it should be.
